About the Journal

According to Brito and Lima (2015), an academic journal has the scope of disseminating information, in addition to being a means of disseminating knowledge of scientific research activities. Biojone (2001), argues that they are, without a doubt, the main instrument for the dissemination of knowledge, as without it there is no sharing or accumulation of human knowledge. The importance of journals in academic life goes beyond being a means of communication and a permanent record. Journal articles are the end result of most research, and a researcher's performance and productivity are judged largely by the number of publications, as well as where they appear. Journals have become deeply integrated into the university infrastructure and are currently considered indispensable. They are fundamental for career plans, course evaluation and direct communication with society. RPAd will contribute to the recognition of the University of Pernambuco as a major research center in the area of Management, as it is in other areas of knowledge.
