CHALLENGES IN SCHOOL MANAGEMENT AT THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION OF CABROBÓ/PE

This research sought to identify the main challenges faced in the school management of the Department of Education of Cabrobó/PE, focusing on efficiency factors. The analysis was based on Passone's research (2019), which outlined factors such as planning, democratic management, administrative management, pedagogical management, shared goals, family/community participation, organizational climate, and leadership. Data collection was conducted through a questionnaire addressed to the person responsible for liaison with school managers at the Department. It was found that the main challenges relate to personnel management, highlighting employee resistance in executing strategic planning, as well as scarce and regulated financial resources. These challenges directly impact school management efficiency, pointing to areas requiring improvement strategies.
