Facial dysmorphia is a psychological disorder in which a person has a distorted and negative perception of their own facial appearance. Patients with this condition believe that they have serious defects or facial imperfections, which are often nonexistent or irrelevant to others. This intense preoccupation can negatively impact a person's social, emotional, and professional life.
