Objective: To report a clinical case of soft tissue injury in the facial region. Case report: 6-year-old male patient with no comorbidities. He was admitted to the oral and maxillofacial traumatology surgery service at Hospital da Restauração after falling from a bicycle and hitting a truck. On physical examination, the patient presented a blunt cut wound in the right eyebrow, frontal, parietal and temporal regions. The computed tomography of the face did not suggest fractures. The treatment was carried out starting with general anesthesia, cleaning and exploration of the trauma. A simple suture was placed on the scalp, eyebrow and extensive laceration on the right side of the face. Soon after, the covering was covered with bandage and tape. Conclusion: The face is a region of great aesthetic and, therefore, psychosocial importance. Soft tissue injuries that may involve this region require an approach focused on removing infectious foci, but also for aesthetics, especially in children who are in the process of developing their selfesteem.
