Coloboma Auris is a congenital malformation that presents as a hole in the anterior margin of the ascending limb of the helix of the ear. It can appear unilaterally or bilaterally. It is usually asymptomatic, but when symptomatic it requires treatment. The aim was to describe the case of a patient with this condition bilaterally, presenting with an infected sinus. After surgery and antibiotic therapy, the infectious condition regressed. The patient was followed up at intervals of 30 days, 6 months and 12 months and the infection regressed. Although rare, infection of the preauricular sinus was easily treated with a simple incision and drainage technique combined with appropriate antibiotic therapy.
