Objective: To analyze the knowledge of dentists in Feira de Santana- BA, working in the municipal public health network, regarding dentoalveolar trauma. Methodology: This is a descriptive cross- sectional study aimed at measuring the level of knowledge of public health dentists regarding the diagnosis and treatment of dentoalveolar trauma. Results: Questionnaires were administered to 33 dentists working in Basic Health Units (UBSs) and Family Health Strategy (ESF) units in Feira de Santana. The results showed that dentists in Feira de Santana demonstrated good knowledge of TADs (Traumatic Dental Injuries), with correct answers ranging from 70% to 85% on key questions. However, they face deficiencies in specific practices and a lack of adequate materials in 88% of their workplaces. Conclusion: The study indicated that although dentists in Feira de Santana have good theoretical knowledge about dentoalveolar trauma, there is a lack of practical experience and continuing education. Improvements in training and health unit infrastructure are necessary to achieve better outcomes.
