Abstract

Reports the experience of a foreign student, in the UPE/FOP Postgraduate Program, in the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Traumatology. The challenges he encountered such as the language, adapting to the country's climate, the difficulty of obtaining a visa to stay at the Federal Police and provisional registration at the Pernambuco Regional Dental Council. He reports on the importance of choosing the course at the University of Pernambuco for its recognition in Brazil and South America.
