Editorial workflow

All articles submitted to Oxe! Journal of Physical Education are initially evaluated by an editor, who approves or rejects the manuscript based on general criteria, such as proper use of the template, inclusion of all required textual elements, compliance with academic writing standards, and adherence to the authors’ guidelines.

Subsequently, the manuscript is reviewed by at least two evaluators, in a double-blind peer review process, with no identification of the parties involved.

The evaluators may approve the article, approve it subject to mandatory corrections, reject it, or recommend that the submission be resubmitted. In cases of divergent evaluations, the editors may request a third review, also conducted without identification of authorship.

All texts will be checked using an anti-plagiarism program. Articles with similarity levels above 20% will be rejected.
