This paper identifies the actions taken by the Pernambuco State Education Network in relation to the policy for tackling school dropout between the 2023 and 2024 school years, outlining the milestones presented by this education network. With a narrative based on federal and state legislation, as well as theorists such as Queiroz (2006), Filho and Araújo (2017) who highlight the importance of studies on the subject, using the methodology of documentary research, the study addresses files that expose the government actions developed in the fight against school dropout, exposing the relevance of the actions developed and their positive results through the reduction of dropout indicators, limiting the cut only to implementation, being pertinent one or more subsequent studies related to the evaluation of the impacts of the actions developed.
