School feeding and its potential contributions to child health promotion

The present study aimed to conduct a scientific analysis of child school feeding programs in public daycare centers and their potential contributions to disease prevention and health promotion of children served by the National School Feeding Program (PNAE). This is a bibliographical research on scientific works, in addition to documentary research including documents referring to the children's school feeding program, especially in relation to the PNAE National Guidelines. In light of the findings on this topic, it became evident that further in-depth research is needed.
