The extensionist training in teacher health
experience in the "Cuidando do Mestre" project

This article aims to present some aspects of the reality of teachers' work, as observed by a student in the process of training in the Pedagogy course at the State University of Bahia - Campus III. It also draws from the experience of a participant in the "Formação para educadores: Cuidado em Educação" which was designed for elementary school teachers in the municipal network of Juazeiro, carried out by the Cuidando do Mestre project in 2022. The integration of an undergraduate student as a monitor in the project signals that training is a space for care, emphasizing possibilities for contributions to the school community through listening to reality and the construction of collective projects based on available resources. It also identifies acts of care and attention to the teacher's health.
