Resumo

Este artigo analisa a relação entre a educação de surdos e a Literatura Surda, articulando o arcabouço legal vigente com a produção cultural e literária da comunidade surda. A pesquisa é de caráter bibliográfico e documental, considerando marcos legais como a Lei nº 10.436/2002, o Decreto nº 5.626/2005, a Lei nº 14.191/2021 e o Decreto nº 11.378/2023. A análise evidencia como a legislação de educação bilíngue e a valorização da LIBRAS contribuem para o desenvolvimento da identidade surda e a promoção da Literatura Surda, conforme discutido por Hessel e Karnopp (2013), Strobel (2009), Mourão (2011), Rosa (2011) e Sutton-Spence (2021), em contextos escolares inclusivos. Conclui-se que a integração entre políticas públicas, formação docente e Literatura Surda é essencial para garantir uma educação inclusiva, bilíngue e culturalmente significativa para alunos surdos.
